This week was jammed full of family type of things to do… so I didn’t get any writing done. And I only got to read one book… and it took me days! Not because it wasn’t a delightful book, but because I just had so many family things on my mind.
Intimate Enemies is a Scottish Historical… that took place sometime around 1100. The writing was definitely Shana Abe’s but the storyline was more typical than her current ones. Not that her storyline was boring… NO, NO. Just no dragons and things like this ;) It was a great book for an escape and did have great scenes in the caves of a Scottish Island, battles, and tension. The hero and heroine are enemies and are forced to work together to fight off another threat to the island they share… the Vikings.
