This is hard to believe. Virginia Ellis from my RWA chapter has died. Among her many accomplishments, she wrote The Wedding Dress and was one of the founders of Belle Books.
I have no idea what happened. I sat next to her in a RWA meeting a few months ago. She had the whole table laughing at something kooky I remember. She was fun, open and friendly. I am shocked. And I feel sincere sorrow for her, her family, her writing partner… the romance world!
Today I’m also feeling my mortality. Things like this make you reflect on your own life. It makes you want to live large, full and right.
