The Palmetto Bug

I was reading Storyteller by Katie Wilhelm today and her description of the palmetto bug was simply hysterical! I guess being from Louisiana it was especially funny to read someone’s first experience with these huge roaches. Read it on page 36. “Roaches on steroids...” I’m still laughing! And her bit on how to kill them with a can of insect spray… it’s so Classic!!! One thing she forgot to mention… these things can FLY!!!
