Today… I got dressed in complete black, frizzed my hair, hung a crystal ball (which was really an unusual Christmas ornament) around my neck and even wore contacts and make-up! For what? To go to the Harry Potter Carnival. What happened? I must have missed the memo ;) IT WAS CANCELLED! I was so bummed… my kids too. A family came up behind us. Their son was in complete Harry Potter Costume… he was disappointed too.
We went to see Chicken Little. My boys enjoyed it. But IMO, I wish we had gone to Zathura instead.
Tonight, I plan on reading the Stone Prince. I’m almost afraid. I haven’t been that lucky today… and I have been really looking forward to reading this book. But I’ll take the chance.
