A Six Feet Under Scene... but no death... Thank God

My husband watched Six Feet Under religiously when it was on. I don’t watch TV (except for One Piece with my sons) so I never got into it. BUT my husband is a little perverse with his TiVo and always called me into the living room to watch the scene that Six Feet Under always had showing a bizarre way that an ordinary person would get killed. I always got creeped out... it always looked so real.

Anyway… my husband just came in to tell me what just happened to our neighbor who is probably 70 years old. He’s in great shape for his age but still…

He was walking down the driveway pushing with his lawnmower and his son who was in his car at the top of the driveway (hill) decided to back out of the driveway without looking behind him. Yep… backed right into his father… and FAST my husband reported. My husband was returning from a run, too far away to do anything but close enough to see the whole thing. Thank God Mr. Dave was knocked into the grass. My husband said the car hit his lower back and bum. That man must have the patience of a saint. My husband said that he left after assuring Mr. Dave was alright because he figured SH*** was going to hit the fan. But no… Mr. Dave took this in his usual calm manner and is mowing his grass right now. He IS going to hurt later, poor guy. His wife won’t take this too calmly… she a bit more high spirited than her low key husband. The son (who is really probably a 35 or 40 year old man) is going to get it… as well he should!
